Leadership

Rich Tiller, President
While studying Agricultural Economics and Sales and Marketing at Purdue University, Rich worked for a direct sales company and became a fan of Zig Ziglar and his messages of hard work and persistence. Rich entered the speaking industry in 1985 and was president of the International Association of Speakers Bureaus at age 27. In 1994, he started his own firm, and has been matchmaking companies and organizations with speakers ever since. Rich is a co-author of the industry’s code of ethics. He lives in Zionsville, Indiana.

Julie Tiller, Vice President
Julie — a Ball State University grad with degrees in Business Education and Dance — taught high school business, choreographed shows, and was a major gifts fundraiser for Indiana University Foundation and Riley Children’s Health. But when her husband Rich formed the Tiller Group, she joined him and never looked back. Working with speakers and event planners combines three things she loves: entertainment, education and helping others. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, live theatre and spending time with friends and family, including her two college-student children.

Kelly Pataky, Administrative Manager
Kelly worked in the insurance industry and for Eli Lilly and Company’s Elanco Animal Health division before staying home and raising her four children. When she returned to the workforce in 1999, she happened upon a job with the Tiller Group. She enjoys the people she works with and the office culture, but she especially appreciates a position that continues to be interesting and educational. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her grandchildren.
